IED leaves casualties in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Several persons on Wednesday were killed or wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in southwestern Baghdad. “An explosive device detonated inside a popular café in al-Shorta al-Rabea area, southwestern Baghdad, leaving a number of casualties,” an IraqiNews.com news agency correspondent, who was close to the scene of the blast, said. “Four persons have been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he added.
