2 blasts leave 8 casualties in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Eight persons on Monday were killed or wounded in two blasts that ripped through the capital Baghdad, according to a police source. “A sticky improvised explosive device (IED) targeted a civilian vehicle in al-Shaab area, killing a woman and wounding a man,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Meanwhile, another device went off inside a bus after all passengers had got off, killing one person and wounding five others,” the source noted.
