30 ISIS militants killed in western Ramadi

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, Al-Jazira and Al-Badiya Operations Command in Anbar announced that the Iraqi security forces had foiled an ISIS attack on western Ramadi and killed 30 ISIS elements.

The operations commander Diaa Kazem informed IraqiNews “This afternoon, a joint force of the security troops, police force, and tribal fighters have managed to foil an ISIS attack on Al-Baghdadi neighborhood, 90 km west of Ramadi.”

“The joint force killed 30 ISIS militants and destroyed a number of armored vehicles belonged to ISIS during the clashes in and around Al-Baghdadi neighborhood which resulted in ISIS withdrawal” he said.
