25 wanted men detained in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested 25 wanted men and freed a kidnapped woman during security operations waged in separate areas of Basra, the Basra police’s information office said Thursday. “Policemen launched crackdown operations in separate areas of Basra, where they arrested 25 wanted men and seized 27 unlicensed vehicles and 17 motorcycles,” the office told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The police managed also to free a kidnapped woman from her kidnapper’s house without arresting him,” it added.
