Ankara, Turkey (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, an official source in Turkey’s government declared that Turkey has allowed the Kurdish Peshmerga forces to cross the Turkish-Syrian border and join the fight in Kobani town.

Saleh Muslim, the leader in the Kurdish Democratic Union Party stated for Reuters: “Peshmerga troops have arrived at the Turkish side and been waiting for more than 3 days to cross the Turkish-Syrian border to join the Kurdish fighters defending the strategic and large town of Kobani.”

“We don’t know the deal between the Kurdish Peshmerga and Turkey’s government, but Turkey is the reason for that the Peshmerga haven’t arrived here yet” he said.
