Zaidi calls to preserve independence of Integrity Commission

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aqeel al-Zaidi, of the Fadhila bloc called to preserve the independence of the Integrity Commission.

Zaidi who is a member of the parliamentary Integrity Committee, added to IraqiNews.com “We have heard about big corruption issues in many of the governmental institutions but we did not hear about the results over these issues.”

“The Integrity Commission left the big corrupted officials free and started to chase and punish the citizens for simple issues which makes Iraq tops the countries in the corruption issues,” he concluded. /End/
