5 wanted men arrested in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: During three separate operations, Diala police forces on Wednesday arrested five wanted persons affiliated with armed groups, seized a Katyusha rocket ready for launch inside al-Khales suburb, and found an ammunition depot northeast of Baaquba city, according to the province’s police commander. “Police forces conducted an operation inside Baaquba city, and arrested five persons affiliated with armed groups and wanted by the judiciary,” General Abdulhussein al-Shemmary told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Police forces seized a Katyusha rocket ready for launch at al-Khwelis area of al-Khales suburb,” he said. “Police forces also found an ammunition cache in al-Shakha area of al-Miqdadiya suburb, 45 km northeast of Baaquba city, which included large quantities of missiles and mortars,” he added.
