IED kills serviceman near Baaquba

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: One Iraqi soldier on Wednesday was killed in an explosive charge blast in southern Baladrouz district, according to a local police source. “A roadside improvised explosive device (IED) targeted an Iraqi army patrol vehicle in al-Daema village, southern Baladrouz district,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The blast killed one serviceman and destroyed the vehicle,” the source noted, providing no further details.
