Urgent – Iraqi team wins Arab Cup U-17

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi team Under 17 won the Arab Cup after beating its Saudi counterpart.

Iraq won the match (2-0) in the championship hosted by the Qatari Capital, Doha.

The first half ended with (0-0) draw although the Iraqi team wasted several easy chances in front of the Saudi goal.

Amir Sabah scored the first goal for the Iraqi team at the 70th minute and four minutes later Sajad Jasim added the second goal for the Iraqi team.

This is the first time fir the Iraqi team to win the Arab Cup U-17.

The Organizing Committee of the Championship chose the Iraqi player Amir Sabah as the man of the match. /End/
