Abadi praises success of security plan se for Ashoura

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Haider al-Abadi, praised the success of the security plan set for Ashoura.

A statement by Abadi’s office received by AIn cited “We do appreciate the exceptional efforts of all sides that resulted in brining success to the pilgrimage of Imam Hussein on the anniversary of Ashoura.”

“We greet the security forces and the volunteers in addition to the administration of the Husseiny and Abbasi holy shrines for their efforts in facilitating the pilgrimage and serve the citizens,” the statement concluded. /End/
