URGENT: ISIS advancing toward Aleppo, Syria

(IraqiNews.com) United Nations envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura warned that the organization of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) are now progressing toward Aleppo, calling on the international community to stop it.

De Mistura said, “If we look at this map, we can notice that ISIS are moving toward Aleppo away from Kobanî. If this is true, there is still a chance of saving the city which has been witnessing fighting that eventually led the Syrian opposition and the government to nothing.”

He added, “We should at least cease the fighting in other places so that we can focus on this organization, and Aleppo is one of the cities where we that can be applied.”
