Ukrainian companies take part in economic conf. in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Representatives of seven Ukrainian companies arrived in Basra Friday morning take part in an economic conference on investment in opportunities on Saturday, according to the chairman of the businessmen union in Basra. “The one-day conference, to be held on Saturday (May 9) aims to update the investors on the investment opportunities in Basra,” Subeih Yussr al-Hashemi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The event aims also to attract the international investment companies to Basra and Iraq in general,” he explained. “The Ukrainian companies, arrived to Basra upon response to an invitation from the Basra businessmen union, are specialized in heavy industries and energy,” he also said.
