Industry Ministry approves 1,011 projects

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Industry Ministry granted permissions to 1,011 projects during the first four months of 2009, with a total investment value of 101.118 billion Iraqi dinars (ID). “Construction industries came first after getting 248 permissions with an investment value of 33.872 billion ID,” Nazar al-Safi, the Ministry’s media director, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Food Industries came second with 267 permissions and investment value of 32.256 billion ID,” he added.
