URGENT: ISIS militants destroy Islamic tomb in Kirkuk
Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday, a security source in Kirkuk province stated that ISIS militants blew up an Islamic memorial and historical tomb in al-Shabija village in southern Kirkuk.
The source informed IraqiNews, “This evening, ISIS destroyed the tomb of Sheikh Saleh in al-Shabija village, located 45 km south of Kirkuk. The ISIS group used explosive devices to blow up the Islamic memorial and historical tomb of Sheikh Saleh where thousands of people used to visit it every year.”
“The explosion resulted in complete destruction of the tomb without any human casualties” the source added.
