PM to visit UAE to discuss security and economic cooperation

(IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, Information Office of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced that the latter will travel to the UAE soon to discuss security and economic cooperation.

Bureau spokesman Saad Hadithi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will travel to the United Arab Emirates nearly the middle of this month,” noting that, “up till now there is no specific day of the visit.”

Hadithi added, “Abadi with discuss with UAE officials the security and intelligence cooperation between the two sides and issues related to economic and trade cooperation, in addition to the support provided by the UAE to Iraq with respect to the displaced file, and the reconstruction of areas released from the control of the ISIS organization, especially that there is an intention to set up a fund for reconstruction.”
