FM, French Defense Minister discuss mutual relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari received on at his residence in Manama, French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Odrian who is participating in the Manama Dialogue.

A satement by the Foreign Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Minister praised France position towards war against terrorism and its support for Iraq , in addition to mobilizing European public opinion against ISIS, describing the French support as “Powerful and influential”.

“For his part, the French Minister expressed happiness over the steps taken by the government to bridge the gap between spectra of the Iraqi people, especially the recent oil agreement between the central government and Kurdistan,” the statement concluded. /End/
