MP calls for funding COSQC through state budget

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC) should be funded through the state budget to boost its performance, Lawmaker Sami al-Attroshi said on Monday, adding that the organization is currently operated on a self-funding system “Representatives of the COSQC demand to be funded by the state,” al-Attroshi, who is a member of the parliament’s financial committee, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The COSQC is currently linked to the Planning Ministry, but has a self-funding system,” he said.
