Oil Ministry welcomes coordination with Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Oil Ministry Thursday welcomed the call of Kirkuk’s council to coordinate with the province’s local authorities in case of signing oil production and investment contracts related to oil fields in Kirkuk. “The oil ministry welcomes any note or view from all involved parties,” Assim Jihad, the Ministry’s media spokesperson, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The ministry aims at realizing the national interest,” he said. Jihad stressed that what the ministry aims to serve the Iraqi people, achieving the highest possible revenues and to introduce advanced technologies to the oil sector in Iraq. MH (P)/SH 1
