VP discusses oil projects with Lukoil

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President, Adel Abdulmahdi, discussed at his office in Baghdad with the director general of the Russian firm Lukoil projects proposed by the company to develop Iraqi oil fields. “Abdulmahdi received the firm’s director general Wednesday evening (June 17),” said a release issued by the VP’s office Thursday. “Abdulmahdi stressed the importance to expand and develop cooperation with Russia especially in the oil and gas sector,” it added.
