Foreign ISIS fighters seek to return to their home countries

(IraqiNews.com) On Monday, MP for the State of Law Coalition Muwafaq al-Rubayi said, that secret communications between foreign ISIS fighters seeking to return home and their loved ones, were detected by sources in Mosul city.

Al-Rubayi said in an interview with IraqiNews, “The intelligence received from trusted sources in Mosul city in Iraq and Raqqa city in Syria, indicate that ISIS elements from different nationalities have been trying to contact their families and loves ones in order to find a way to return to their home countries without legal prosecution.”

According to al-Rubayi, the ISIS group has witnessed internal ethnic war and a number of internal assassinations due to the misaligned management of the occupied territories by the group.
