Oil price reduction is a conspiratorial issue, says Larijani from Najaf
(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, the president of the Iranian Shura (Consultative) Council, Ali Larijani said, reduction in world oil prices is a ‘conspiratorial issue’, noting that federation and the regions formation are Iraqi internal matters.
Larijani added in a press conference after his meeting with Mr. al-Sistani in Najaf, attended by IraqiNews.com, “Federation and the formation of regions are internal matters. Whoever wants federation must consult the Iraqi officials about this regard,” adding, “From the very beginning, we supported the Iraqi government and its people to fight terrorism and we will continue our support.”
In December 11, 2014, the Iranian President Hassan Rohani said that a political conspiracy by unnamed countries is behind the drop of crude oil prices, stressing that the reasons for the reduction of oil prices is not purely economic.
