Hairdressing salons gang arrested in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces in Karbala on Monday arrested a gang specialized in robbing hairdressing salons in the south of the city, according to a media director in the local police. “The gang, comprised of five women and two men, was netted in Sayf Saad area,” Maj. Alaa al-Ghanemi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “An amount of gold and much cash were found in their possession,” the official noted, adding that there were all brought to court. The holy Shiite city of Karbala lies 110 km southwest of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
