2 drug gangs arrested in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Security agencies in Karbala arrested on Monday the members of two drug-dealing gangs in two separate operations in the central and eastern parts of the holy Shiite city, a local official security spokesman said. “Two persons who formed a dangerous gang dealing in narcotics were arrested in central Karbala based on intelligence tip-offs about their selling of psychotropic pills in youths’ circles,” Maj. Alaa Abbas told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Another gang of two dealers was nabbed in the area of Feriha, (5 km) eastern Karbala ,” he added.
