Body of kidnapped Karawi discovered in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Security forces discovered the dead body of the former chairman of Najaf FC who was kidnapped, Sabah al-Karawi, at the morgue in the Iraqi Capital, Baghdad.

Spokesperson of the Youth and Sports Ministry, Ahmed al-Mosawi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The Ministry followed up the information related to disappearance of the former chairman of Najaf FC, Sabah al-Karawi,” noting that “Minister Abdul Hussein Abtan contacted the Minister of Interior Mohammed al-Ghaban to check on this issue personally.”

He added “The Interior Ministry informed us that the dead body of the kidnapped Karawi was discovered at the morgue in Baghdad.”

The chairman of Najaf FC Sabah al-Karawi has been kidnapped in Baghdad two days ago in a mysterious incident. /End/
