Tukey: Erdogan to visit Iraq

Follow- Up (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish Government expressed its appreciation for the development of relations between Turkey and Iraq, revealing the intention of the Turkish President Reccep Tayyeb Erdogan to visit Iraq during next January.

Turkish Vice-President Bolent Areenj said in a press statement “Erdogan plans to visit Iraq during next January.”

“The last visit of the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to Turkey witnessed holding the first meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council between Iraq and Turkey,” he added.

“We are delighted towards development of Turkish- Iraqi relations since it is good for both countries to have solid and sound relations,” Areenj stressed. /End/
