Diwaniya PC member urges to limit governmental expenditures

Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) Member of Diwaniya Provincial Council Zainab al-Abidi urged the Ministry of Finance to reduce governmental expenditures on travels of officials working within Diwaniya governmental departments.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “The budget contains many extra items that are considered as burden on the budget that should be cancelled.”

“A lot of money has been spent on travel of officials, buying furniture and vehicles which is a burden on the budget of Diwaniya government,” she added.

She clarified “This step will save funds for the province and reduce governmental expenditures.” /End/
