Parliament Speaker arrives in Basra to check investigation of clerics’ murder

(IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, the President of the House of Representatives, Saleem al-Jubouri arrived in Basra to investigate the murder of the clergy and attend funerals in the province.

The reporter of IraqiNews.com stated that, “The House Speaker, Salim al-Jubouri arrived this afternoon with a number of members of the Parliament in Basra, to investigate the murder of the clergy in the province.”

He added that upon his arrival, al-Jubouri headed to the headquarters of Sunni Endowment Directorate in the province.
