Kidnapped girl freed in Amara

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: A kidnapped young girl resident of Mosul city was freed and her kidnappers arrested in the city of al-Amara on Saturday, a police source in Missan said. “Policemen liberated a young girl taken hostage and arrested her three kidnappers in Ali al-Gharbi district, (100 km) north of al-Amara,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The arrests took place after security forces of Ali al-Gharbi checkpoint suspected and searched a vehicle boarding the kidnappers and the girl from the city of Mosul and heading for Basra,” southern Iraq, the source added.
