Speaker, British official discuss fighting terrorism on political, economic levels

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Saleem al-Jobouri, and the Representative of UK Foreign Department Envoy for Anti-ISIL affairs, Mr. Simon Collis, discussed the strategies of fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant terrorists on political and economic levels.

A statement by the Speaker’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Jobouri stressed the significance of the comprehensive political reformations in consolidating the security situation.”

“Jobouri also appreciated the UK role and the International Coalition in this regard,” the statement added.

“The British official briefed Jobouri over the International Conference on fighting terrorism to be held in London at the end of current January,” the statement concluded. /End/
