(IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi called provinces and ministries to open the door for investment widely, while he warned that obstructing investments in Iraq will be considered a crime like terrorism.

Ebadi said in a speech during the anniversary of founding the Islamic Dawa Party, followed by IraqiNews.com, that, “In the state budget, we have to consider the poor class and the spending that creates jobs,” calling for “cooperation between the government and parliament with regard to the budget.”

Abadi added, “There will be new instructions on spending, except for necessary spending,” asserting that, “The country will face this current crisis and emerge stronger.”

Abadi called provinces and ministries to “open the door of investment widely,” stressing that, “We will not accept any obstruction in the investment process and we will consider any lack of investment a crime like terrorism.”

In December 26, 2014, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi called, during his visit to the Turkish capital of Ankara, Turkish businessmen to participate strongly in the Iraqi market, noting that there is no war in 14 provinces in Iraq and its doors are open for investment.
