Body of U.S. soldiers’ killer taken to morgue

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Mosul’s morgue on Sunday received the body of an Iraqi soldier who shot down two U.S. servicemen in the city yesterday, according to a local security source. “An Iraqi army force delivered the body of Hassan Mohammed Nayef, born in 1983, to the morgue,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The corpse bore signs of gunshot wounds to different parts of the body,” the source noted. On Saturday (May 2), a U.S. army statement said that two U.S. soldiers were killed and three others wounded when they came under “small arms fire attack” in a front combat post south of Mosul city.
