Iraqi army frees kidnapped man in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi army released a kidnapped person on Monday after a hunt down operation in western Mosul, an army source said. “A force from the 6th brigade of the 2nd division of the Iraqi army in Mosul managed on Monday (May 18) to free a kidnapped person in al-Resala neighborhood in western Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The force suspected a car with two gunmen inside it at a checkpoint and pursued it, managing to seize it after the two gunmen fleed,” he added, noting that they found the kidnapped man inside the trunk.
