Armed group leader busted in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi army forces on Monday arrested a senior leader of the Islamic State of Iraqi group in northern Mosul, a military source said. “A force from the 3rd brigade of the Quick Response Department (QRD) arrested a senior leader from the Islamic State of Iraq in al-Arabi neighborhood in northern Mosul,: the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The operation occurred during an air drop waged by Iraqi helicopters,” he added. “The forces found two guns with silencer in his possession,” he said, noting that he was moving between Syria and Iraq, mainly Mosul.
