2 civilians killed, injured in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One civilian was killed and another was wounded on Monday in two separate incidents in the city of Mosul, a police source said. “One civilian was killed on Monday (May 25) by gunmen in Mosul al-Jadieda region in western Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The gunmen fled to an unknown place,” he added. “An explosive charge went off on Monday targeting a U.S. vehicle patrol in Tal al-Rouman region in western Mosul, wounding a passing civilian,” the same source said. Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, is located 405 km north of Baghdad. SH (P)/SR 1
