Iran expresses readiness to train Iraqi IPs

Follow Up (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of the Iranian Police University, Brigadier Ali Bekhtyari, expressed readiness of his country to receive Iraqi Police officers for training purposes in his University.

Brigadier Bekhtyari addressed the Iraqi visiting delegation to the University saying “This University is specialized in training police officers on different policing specializations,” noting that “The University comprises seven colleges represented by Commanding and Staff, Intelligence, detecting, Logistics and Administration, Traffic, Interpol, and two other colleges.”

Member of the Iraqi visiting delegation, Commander of the Iraqi Border Forces, General Abdul Karim al-Amiri, said “Iraqi Police Officers graduate from four year study courses in Iraqi Police University but they do not have specialized training courses in a similar to the Iranian on fighting drugs or borders’ protection.”

Brigadier Amiri expressed Iraqi will to make use of the advanced courses and police sciences provided by the Iranian colleges. /End/
