Speaker meets Erdogan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Saleem al-Jobouri, met with the Turkish President, Recep Tayyib Erdogan, in Turkey.

A statement by Jobouri’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “The two sides discussed the mutual relations and the means of promoting them where Jobouri appreciated the Turkish efforts in hosting the Iraqi displaced citizens and community in the current critical time.”

“Erdogan assured supporting Iraq in fighting the ISIL terrorists and also working on making better relations with Iraq,” the statement concluded. /End/
