Hakim calls EU to interfere to stop campaign for defaming Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, called the European Union to interfere in order to stop the campaign against the Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him).

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim received the Ambassador of the EU in Iraq, Yana Hiboshkofa, at his office in Baghdad where he called the EU to participate in stopping the campaign that defames the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).”

“Hakim denounces the procedures of the Saudi and Bahraini authorities against the clergymen that would affect the situation in these countries and the whole region,” the statement concluded. /End/
