Islamic party in Ninewa slams targeting civilians by U.S. forces

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The Islamic Party in Ninewa denounced on Tuesday targeting civilians by U.S. forces, demanding for U.S. withdrawal from cities to avoid such violations. “The party strongly denounced U.S. attacks on civilians,” Yehya Abd Mahjoub told IraqiNews.com news agency. He called for immediate withdrawal of U.S. forces from Mosul to avoid jeopardizing civilians. A medical source had said earlier that a civilian and a woman were wounded Tuesday by U.S. forces random fire in eastern Mosul. Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, is located 405 km north of Baghdad.
