Bomb blast kills 6 volunteer fighters, wounds 10 southern Tikrit
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that 6 elements of the Iraqi Volunteer Forces have been killed and 10 others were hurt in a bomb blast in southern Tikrit.
The source informed IraqiNews, “Elements of the Iraqi Volunteer Forces have carried out a security operation in the area of Om-al-Talayeb, located in southern Samarra, looking for any bombs or explosive devices,” noting that, “One of the bombed houses has exploded killing 6 volunteer fighters and injuring 10 others while attempting to enter into it.”
