Coalition warplanes kill, wound 66 ISIS elements including ISIS spokesman in western Anbar
(IraqiNews.com) U.S.-led air strikes killed and injured 66 ISIS militants, including the ISIS group spokesman Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, during air strikes in western Anbar, the Interior Ministry spokesman said in a statement Saturday.
The ministry’s spokesman Maj. Gen. Saad Mo’en said, “The international coalition warplanes following accurate intelligence received by the Interior Ministry conducted two air strikes on two gathering sites for the ISIS group leaders in the area of Hasiba and al-Qa’im,” pointing out that, “The two strikes resulted in killing 50 terrorists and injuring 15 others.”
“The gangster Abu Mohammed al-Adnani has been critically injured in his stomach along with the Wali of the so-called Welayit al-Forat Abu Anas al-Shami and the police chief for the same area, known as Abu Talha ,” Mo’en added.
