Iraqi gov. approves deal with U.S. company to dig oil wells in Missan

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The official spokesman for the Iraqi government said on Tuesday that the council of ministers approved during its 16th session to sign a contract with a U.S. company to dig 20 oil wells in Missan. “The 20 wells will be drilled in al-Barzerkan field in Missan with a cost of $224.4 million within 24 months,” Ali al-Dabagh said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The council also approved the establishment of diplomatic relations with Salvador,” the statement added.
