Parliament to question trade minister over corruption charges – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Member of the parliament’s integrity committee, Amal al-Qadi, on Thursday said that the Parliament will question Trade Minister Abdulfalah al-Sudani on Saturday on charges of financial and administrative corruption. “The committee has obtained evidence of financial and administrative corruption, such as the ration cards and the contracts signed between the Trade Ministry and fake companies,” al-Qadi, from the Iraqi Accord Front (IAF), told IraqiNews.com news agency. “She expressed hope that the minister will attend the session,” she added. “The head of the integrity committee has evidences and accurate proof against the Trade Ministry and will submit them during the session,” she also said.
