ISIS kidnaps 40 people from al-Sharqat
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that the ISIS group elements kidnapped 40 civilians from central al-Sharqat, located in northern Tikrit.
The source informed IraqiNews, “The ISIS group militants abducted 40 civilians from the residents of al-Sharqat district, located 40 km northern Tikrit,” noting that, “The hostages were driven to an unknown location.”
“Some security elements and officials in the federal government were taken among the hostages,” the source added.
