Abadi chairs meeting for investigation committee over violations in Diyala

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Prime Minister and Commanding General of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Haider al-Abadi, chaired a meeting for the investigation committee over the events of Barwana district within Diyala province on Thursday evening.

A statement by Abadi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Abadi reviewed with the chairman of the investigation committee the defense Minister Khalid al-Ubaidi and its member Advisor of the National Security Falih al-Fayadh the primary results of the investigation,” noting that “Abadi stressed the necessity of following up details of this case and reveal the results for the public and punish the criminals involved in committing this crime.” /End/
