Hakim: ISIL represents enemy of all Iraqis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council Ammar al-Hakim pointed out “Iraqis do not have any other choice but standing by their government.”

Statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim met at his office in Baghdad a delegation from Barazanjiya tribe,” noting that “Hakim urged the moderate Iraqis to unite for the sake of Iraq and keep moderate voices in Iraq.”

Hakim said during the meeting “The terrorist ISIL targets all Iraqis who should stand by and support their government.”

“Iraqi clergymen, tribesmen and NGOs have a double responsibility in dealing with all problems and remove reasons behind worries which will be a reason for the success of the national reconciliation,” according to Hakim. /End/
