500 tribal fighters join security forces in Biji

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) A source in the Council of Biji District announced Tuesday, that 500 fighters from al-Jaisat tribe are going to take part in securing territories in Biji, asserting that the security forces regained control over some strategic areas in the district.

The member of the council Khaz’al Hammad stated to IraqiNews, “500 fighters from the clan of al-Jaisat will participate in a security plan in the district of Biji,” pointing out that, “Subsequently, they will work under the National Guards formations.”

“The security forces are preparing to liberate the entire district of Biji,” he added.
