Minister of Oil to discuss mutual cooperation with Qatari officials in Doha

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi President, Foud Masoum, accompanied by the Minister of Oil, Adel Abdul Mahdi, are scheduled to travel to Doha within a State Visit on Wednesday.

The Advisor of the Minister of Oil, Ahmed al-Saedi, told IraqiNews.com ”The Iraqi Minister of Oil will meet his Qatari counterpart to discuss the means of promoting mutual cooperation and invite the Qatari companies to invest in oil field in Iraq.”

”The Government will grant extra privileges for foreign companies to encourage then to expand the geographic reach of gas fields sites in order to block the local need of gas,” the statement concluded. \End\
