Vote of no confidence requires 138 votes

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A total of 138 votes are required to hold a vote of no confidence on the Iraqi minister of trade, a member of parliamentary integrity commission said on Wednesday. “The next parliamentary session will determine whether a vote of no confidence will be held,” Ghofran al-Saedi told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that only 101 lawmakers have agreed on the vote thus far. On Sunday (May 17), the Parliament held two regular sessions to question Trade Minister Abdulfalah al-Sudani on financial and administrative corruption charges. SS (P)/SR 1
