Iranian First Vice President to visit Baghdad tomorrow

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq announced on Sunday, that the first deputy chairman of the Iranian republic, Ishaq Jahangiri will visit Baghdad at the head of a high political and economic

delegation on a visit to Iraq at the invitation of Prime Minister , Haider al-Abadi to discuss the conditions of the region and exchange views on common issues and expand relations between the two sides.

ISNA Iranian news agency said that the visit, which begins on Monday, will continue for three days in which Jahangiri will meet, President Fuad Masum, the Prime Minister ,Haider al-Abadi , Parliament Speaker ,Salim al-Jubouri , Foreign Minister ,Ibrahim al-Jaafari and head of the Islamic Supreme Council ,Ammar al-Hakim.

The agency noted that the visit was to participate in the meetings of the Joint Higher Committee between Iraq and Iran and the signing ceremony of a number of agreements and memorandums of joint cooperation and hold a joint news conference with Prime Minister ,Haider al-Abadi, noting that the work program includes , Iranian delegation visit program also includes a visit to the Iranian exhibition in Iraq and will meet with a number Iraqi and Iranian merchants. /End/
