Al-Samarraie discusses with Belgian FM bilateral cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament discussed with Belgian Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht and his accompanying delegation ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in civil society organizations field. “The meetings also tackled means of fostering bilateral ties,” said a statement of the Parliament received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The meeting was attended by the Belgian ambassador and a number of the Belgian dipl o matic mission in Iraq . De Gucht had arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday morning (May 27) on a surprise visit to the country. He held a press conference with his Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zebari upon his arrival.
